Since its beginning, EP Graphics has operated on a philosophy of hard work, customer satisfaction, quality printing, lower distribution costs, prompt delivery, and competitive pricing. These have always been the foundations of great business relationships.
EP Graphics has been family-owned since 1925.
EP Graphics was founded as Economy Printing Concern in 1925 by Christian Muselman, who came to America in 1910 to work as a printer’s apprentice. Fifteen years later, he moved to the Midwest town of Berne, Indiana, and launched both a local newspaper and his new printing company. Because of his dedication to his customers and his craft, Economy Printing Concern quickly expanded, gaining national recognition as a printer and binder of books and periodicals.
In 1959, the second generation of Muselmans, Art and Carl, purchased the company from their father, and during their leadership, saw the family business grow a thousand-fold, expanding to include publishing and fulfillment. For more than 40 years the brothers led both divisions before turning the business over to the third generation of Muselmans. Today, Roger Muselman serves as Chairman and Director for all the Muselman divisions, and Thomas Muselman serves as President and Director.
Under the leadership of CEO and partner Tyler Kitt, EP Graphics continues its tradition of excellence, combining leading-edge technology and state-of-the-art manufacturing for its diverse nationwide clientele.
According to Kitt, “We are committed to helping our customers build their organizations for the long term. We are not just in the printing business—we are in the people business. Relationships matter to us.”
EP Graphics specializes in short to medium runs with quantities of up to three million, producing a variety of catalogs, books, periodicals, and other publications. The company offers a full spectrum of production capabilities, including conventional and electronic prepress, heat-set and non-heat-set printing on coated and uncoated paper in digest, standard, and tabloid formats, saddle-stitch or perfect binding, and ink-jet or Cheshire addressing.
The owners and staff at EP Graphics remain committed to the philosophies of its founder, philosophies that have led to almost 100 years of printing. The original vision remains—deliver excellence in both products and service.
